Out The Rut

Out The Rut

You're not stuck.
You're just missing a system.

You don't have to change your entire life today.

Start with one decision. One task. One habit. One day.

Practical challenges, guides and tools to help you stop drifting and start rebuilding—one day at a time.

No hype. No overnight-success promises. Just a place to start.

— day one is still day one.

Does this feel familiar?

You keep saying things are going to change.

But somehow you keep ending up back in the same place.

  • You start motivated and slowly fall off.
  • You know what you should be doing but don't consistently do it.
  • You have ideas but struggle to turn them into action.
  • Your days are busy, but you don't feel like you're moving forward.
  • You've told yourself "Monday" or "next month" more times than you can count.
  • You're tired of starting over.

Maybe you don't need another motivational speech. Maybe you need a system you can actually follow.

A different approach

Out The Rut isn't about becoming someone else.

It's about finally becoming intentional about who you're becoming.

Out The Rut is a collection of practical tools designed around one simple idea:

Small actions repeated long enough begin to change how you see yourself.

Instead of trying to fix everything at once, we focus on the areas you can actually control today.

  1. 01

    Move

Take action instead of waiting to feel ready.

  2. 02

    Build

Create habits and systems that make progress easier.

  3. 03

    Track

Pay attention to what you're actually doing—not what you intended to do.

  4. 04

    Become

Use repeated action to build evidence of the person you're trying to become.

Keep building

Different ruts require different tools.

Sometimes the problem isn't motivation.

Sometimes it's your habits.

Sometimes it's money.

Sometimes it's the way you see yourself.

Sometimes you simply need a clearer starting point.

more tools coming — one at a time.

One thing I did well

One thing I need to improve

one page a day. that's it.

Track it. Learn from it. Improve it. Repeat.

You don't need to remember every promise you made to yourself.

Put it somewhere you can see it.

Then show up.

This isn't really about a journal.

  • It's about keeping a promise to yourself.
  • It's about getting your body moving again.
  • It's about reading instead of scrolling.
  • It's about learning something useful.
  • It's about becoming more intentional with your money.
  • It's about finishing something.
  • It's about looking back 28 days from now and having evidence that you didn't spend another month standing still.

You're building a new identity.

Not ready for 28 days?

Start with 3.

Get the FREE 3-DAY OUT THE RUT CHALLENGE and spend the next three days doing something different.

No massive commitment.

No perfect routine.

Just three days of intentional action.

Free. Practical. Start when you're ready.

Why I built this

I'm not building this from the finish line.

Out The Rut wasn't created because I figured everything out.

It came from understanding what it feels like to have ideas, goals, responsibilities, and things you want to change—while still finding yourself stuck in familiar cycles.

I'm building these tools around the things I'm learning, practicing, tracking, and applying in my own life.

That's why I don't want Out The Rut to feel like someone standing above you telling you how to live.

Think of it as someone walking beside you saying:

"I'm working on mine too. Let's get moving."

I'm doing the 28 days too.

I'm not just asking other people to take the challenge.

I'm documenting my own 28 days—the workouts, reading, food choices, lessons, progress, setbacks, and what I learn about myself along the way.

This isn't a before-and-after highlight reel.

It's the middle.

28 days are going to pass anyway.

The question is what you'll have to show for them.

One task. One habit. One day at a time.
